How to invest in Infrastrcture bonds and take advtaneg of tax break

Infrastructure bonds are available through issues of ICICI Bank and IDBI, brought out in the name of ICICI Safety Bonds and IDBI Flexibonds. These provide tax-saving benefits under Section 88 of the Income Tax Act, 1961, up to an investment of Rs.1,00,000, subject to the bonds being held for a minimum period of three years from the date of allotment.

India Infrastructure Finance Co. Ltd (IIFCL) plans to guarantee bonds
issued by private firms to help them earn a better credit rating and
make fund raising cheaper. This will reduce project cost and interest burden.

High priority to infrastrcture loans

While retail loans are more lucrative business for Banks , high CRR limits them to loan big projects in infrastructure sector. Banks are asking RBI

a) CRR exemption for infra loans

b) Cosider infra loans as Priority sector advances

If RBI can accept these proposal it can boost banks profitability and free up capital to be landed to other sector and retail.

Looking at another multibagger called Nitin Fire Protection

About Company

Nitin fire ,is in business of fire extinguisher industrial and small and also CNG cascades. Check out it's website for more product info.

Again I think it's intereting to see how a fire company relates to infrastruture development in India. Few years ago , less shopping mall less requirement for those red color fire extinguishers. As economy and real estate around us grew demand for these services increased making Nitin one of the fastest growing company.
